Who Needs to Comply with ESOS?
ESOS applies to UK organisations meeting any of these thresholds:
- 250+ employees, OR
- Annual turnover >£44 million AND balance sheet total >£38 million
- Group applicability: If one entity within a corporate group meets these criteria, the whole group must comply with ESOS, even if individual subsidiaries fall below these thresholds
