Our Summer Company Day was a brilliant reminder of what makes Flotilla special: a team that works hard, celebrates successes, and isn’t afraid to get a little competitive when the whistle blows.
We started the day in glorious Yorkshire sunshine with a morning of reflection and forward thinking — celebrating recent wins and aligning on our goals for the months ahead. That focus carried into an AI innovation workshop, where creativity, collaboration and a few “lightbulb moments” set the tone for exciting things to come.
Then came the serious business… the Flotilla Olympics. From the legendary egg & spoon race to the zip wire challenge and a fiercely contested volleyball match, the energy was high, the laughs were plenty, and the competitive streaks were impossible to hide.
We rounded things off with a well-earned BBQ, live music from our very own Jess, and more than a few stories that will be retold at future team days.
Purpose, people and plenty of fun — all in one perfect Yorkshire summer’s day.
