THE ROLE

Were seeking a passionate and experienced results-driven sales individual to join our innovative team. You’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth by sourcing and managing qualified leads through the sales funnel from first contact to close. You’ll collaborate with marketing and client delivery teams to convert interest into impact, delivering best-in-class ESG and carbon solutions to our clients. This role is critical in aligning sales, marketing and client team efforts to drive growth and deliver exceptional client experiences.

THE GOALS

Core Sales Responsibilities

· Manage inbound leads and drive outbound outreach where relevant, progressing opportunities through the funnel to close

· Serve as a trusted first point of contact for prospective clients, shaping their understanding of Flotilla’s value proposition

· Customise and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals

 

Core Sales Responsibilities 

  • Utilise multi-channel communications to drive outbound outreach to develop and convert sales opportunities. 
  • Manage inbound leads progressing opportunities through the funnel to close 
  • Serve as a trusted first point of contact for prospective clients, shaping their understanding of Flotilla’s value proposition 
  • Customise and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals 

 

Sales Operations & Insight

  • Own the CRM (HubSpot), ensuring lead records are accurate and up to date 
  • Generate reports on pipeline performance and conversion metrics to inform strategic decisions 
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure the right collateral is available at each stage 

 

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the client delivery team to align sales promises with implementation expectations 
  • Feed insights from client conversations into marketing and product development 
  • Stay current on climate/ESG trends and bring insight to inform campaigns and client messaging 

 

 

YOU

We are a small, close-knit team working with entrepreneurial and ambitious clients, including professional service firms, financial funds, private equity and public sector. To thrive in this role, candidates should have experience engaging with C-suite executives and share our ambition and drive to build a leading UK climate tech and advisory business. 

 

  • 3+ years in a B2B sales or client-facing role, ideally in SaaS, consulting or ESG 
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and influence senior stakeholders 
  • Strong commercial acumen. You understand how businesses think and make decisions 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to simplify complexity 
  • Confident using CRM tools (especially HubSpot) and sales data to inform action 
  • Interested in the intersection of sustainability, technology, and client value 
  • Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable in a dynamic, scaling environment 
  • A passion for purpose-led work. Sustainability expertise is a bonus, but not essential
